Murline Roush Kelley, age 83, of Bono, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at The Springs Nursing Home in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on March 6, 2026. She was born to Johnny Roush and Shirley Gatlin Roush, in Jonesboro, on December 24, 1942. She was a devoted nurse, loving mother, and cherished member of her community.

Murline dedicated her life to caring for others as a licensed practical nurse at St. Bernards Hospital for 15 years. She was also a lifelong member of Woods Chapel Baptist Church in Brookland, Arkansas, where her faith and commitment left a lasting impact.

Murline is survived by one son, Russell Kelley of Bono, Arkansas; one daughter, Pennie Kelley of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two brothers, Roger Roush of Bentonville, Arkansas; Barry Roush of Brookland, Arkansas; and her three grandchildren, who brought her great joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, James Kelley; and her sister, Louise Roush.

Visitation will be held at Woods Chapel Baptist Church in Brookland on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM,  Service will immediatley follow , with private  interment at Pine Log Cemetery . Pastor Rick Hathcoat will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Earl Allen, Leroy Coker, Daniel Hathcoat, James Key, Clint Cooper, and Frank Russell.

Murline’s compassion, dedication, and love will be deeply missed, but her legacy of care and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Arrangements are entrusted to Hathcoat Funeral Services in Brookland, Arkansas.
