Frankie Louise Upton

Frankie Louise Upton, age 76, of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, passed away on May 31, 2026 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born on October 2, 1949, in Turrell, Arkansas, Frankie lived a life marked by faith, devotion to family, hard work, and kindness toward others.

A devoted Christian, Frankie found strength and comfort in her faith throughout her life. She was known for her warm heart, caring spirit, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Frankie worked as a custodian at Arkansas State University, where she took pride in her work and the relationships she built over the years.

Frankie enjoyed many simple pleasures in life. She loved watching soap operas, dancing, attending auctions, completing word searches, and spending time searching for treasures at yard sales. Her joyful personality and sense of humor brought smiles to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Upton; her parents, Frankie Gann and Edith Gann Smith; her brothers, Johnny Gann, Eugene Gann, and Darrell Gann; and her sister, Brenda Sipa.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, James Upton, Gary Upton, Tammy Upton, and Matthew Upton; her siblings, Wayne Gann, Calvin Gann, Wanda Biggers, and Caroline Gann; her grandchildren, Eric Estes, Heather Estes, Dillion Estes, and Chase Upton; her great-grandchildren, Alexus Shipman, Erica Estes, Alize Estes, Christian Estes, McKendra Estes, Dameron Braxton, Deon Braxton, Dallin Estes, Nova Victor, Immanuel Estes, and Jaylen Estes; and her great-great-granddaughter,

Lindsley Pender.

Frankie will be remembered for her strong faith, loving heart, and the countless memories she created with those she loved. Her legacy of love, resilience, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is at peace and reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. Her memory will forever be treasured and her love never forgotten. 

Arrangments

Saturday June 6th 2026 visitation for Frankie Louise Upton will be held from 10:00am-11:00am in the chapel at Hathcoat Funeral Services 799 N.Holman Street Brookland, Arkansas with a graveside burial service immediately following the visitation at Pinelog Cemetery 126 County Road 763 Brookland, Arkansas.
