Edward “Bubber” Howard Klingensmith

September 16, 1932 – June 26, 2026

Edward “Bubber” Howard Klingensmith, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy of faith, hard work, and unwavering love.

Born on September 16, 1932, Edward lived a life centered on God, family, and service. He proudly served his country as a veteran of the Korean War before dedicating many years of his life to his career as a roofer and bullrider.

Edward had a deep love for Jesus Christ, and his faith was the foundation of his life. He also enjoyed attending rodeos and treasured every opportunity to spend time with his family. His quiet generous heart and steadfast faith will be remembered by all whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Klingensmith; his children, Valerie (Bruce) Carr, Clifford “Eddie” Klingensmith, and Kelly (Denise) Klingensmith; and his cherished grandchildren, Devin (Kim) Tate, Ashley (Seth) Haggard, Leslie (TJ) Ballentine, Lee Klingensmith II (Miranda), Justin (Myka) Klingensmith, Dylan Klingensmith, Logan Lutz and Ella Klingensmith. He is also survived by his sister, Marcella Blair and her husband, Tom Blair, along with 6 great grandchildren and all who were blessed to know him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Lola Klingensmith; his brother, Charles Klingensmith; his sister, Betty Woodward; his beloved son, Lee Klingensmith; and his precious great-grandson, Tyler Morris.

Although his family mourns his passing, they rejoice in the assurance of his eternal home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Memorial services will be held at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at Birdeye.

The date and time of the service will be announced by the family. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Higher Trails Cowboy Church of Paragould, Arkansas.
