Deborah Ann Rece, 68, of Leachville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home on August 9, 2026.

Deborah was born on August 20, 1957, in Leachville, Arkansas, to the late Ted and Faye Rece.

Deborah dedicated her career to caring for others as a Home Health Registered Nurse. Her compassion, kindness, and genuine concern for those around her were a reflection of the loving person she was. Caring for others came naturally to Deborah, and she touched the lives of many through both her work and the love she showed her family.

Outside of her career, Deborah enjoyed the things that brought her the most happiness: playing bingo, visiting the casino, going on cruises, spending time at the beach, and, most of all, making memories with her family. She especially loved game nights and the laughter and togetherness they brought. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by the people she loved.

Deborah is survived by her daughters, Misty Clark and Katrinka Musumbi; her grandchildren, Macmillan Musumbi, Alexander Musumbi, Brandan Clark, and Elizabeth Musumbi; her great-grandchildren, Evangeline Musumbi and Anais Musumbi; her sisters, Claudia Carter and Melissa Shannon (Tony Shannon); and her sister-in-law, Gail Rece, wife of her late brother, Jimmy Rece.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Faye Rece, and her brother, Jimmy Rece.

Deborah will be remembered most for her kind heart, generous spirit, and the love she had for her family. She had a way of making the people around her feel cared for and loved. The memories she created with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends will be treasured forever. Her absence will leave a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

In accordance with Deborah’s wishes, there will be no traditional funeral service. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her life, share memories, and celebrate the beautiful person she was.
