David Paul Edwards

David Paul Edwards, 66, of Monette, Arkansas, passed away on January 22, 2026. He was born on February 15, 1959, and was a lifelong resident of Monette, where he was born and raised.

David was an over-the-road trucker and the proud owner-operator of E & E Trucking. He spent much of his life on the open road, a career he embraced with dedication and independence. Outside of work, David was an avid coin and gun enthusiast and deeply enjoyed collecting and learning about both. Above all else, he loved his family and valued time spent with those closest to him.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Terry Paul and Delores Prince Edwards.

He is survived by his wife Sandy of the home, his son, Jason (Tamara) Edwards; his daughter, Ashley (Jonathan) Mays; his brother, Terry (Pam) Edwards; and his stepsons, Christopher McFarlin and Andrew Tyler Stone. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Alex (Jeff) Peede, Payton Stone, Taylor Edwards, Jordan Mays, Maggie Mays, Bently Mays, Lilly Woods, Ella Woods, Deglan Stone, Luna Stone, and Rowen Stone. David was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Oliver Peede and Maria Peede.

Additionally, he is survived by his nephew, Colby Edwards (Katie); his niece, Morgan (Matt) Edmisten; three great-nephews; and one great-niece.

Hathcoat Funeral Services is handling the arrangements. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

David will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his passions, and his devotion to his family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
