Anna Lee Mills

Anna Lee Mills, 84, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on November 17, 1941, in Dinuba, California, to the late Leon and Thelma Spurlock Hager.

Anna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She worked for many years as an insurance sales agent and later sold real estate for a short time, where she was known for her kindness, dedication, and ability to connect with people. She was a long-time member of Bono Church of Christ.  Her warm spirit and caring nature touched the lives of many throughout her community.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, David Hager.

Anna is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Danny Mills of the home; her children, Steve (Jennifer) Shaw of Jonesboro, Jay Shaw (Jill Powell) of Jonesboro, and Justin (Rebecca) Mills of Rogers; her sisters, Gloria (Don) Foster of Brookland and Judy (Larry) McLaughlin of Paragould; and her beloved grandchildren, Phillip Mills of Colorado, Mikayla Shaw of Jonesboro, Tabitha Webb of Marmaduke, Lindsay Ivie of Paragould, and Autumn Miller of Paragould. She also leaves behind 11 great-grandchildren who will cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Brookland Church of Christ, with family visitation from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. and public visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Dalton Mills and Richard Akins officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mark Lemons, Curtis Brown, Winston Brown, Todd McLaughlin, Eric Hager, and Justin Mills.

Anna will be remembered for her loving heart, strong faith, dedication to her family, and the kindness she shared with everyone who knew her.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital .
